Spring Fever, Linden Homes & Copybot Killers!

Spring is in the air @ Epic & I have made tons of new stuff this past week!
Sorry it took so long for an update between the notices and now, but I was decorating my free Linden Home! Ok I'll talk about that later. Anyway, let's get down to business... What's new at Epic? Spring Fever! The week started out with me wanting to make corset dresses but then spiraled into shoes, bolero jackets, tees and capris hehe! Here's some editorial pics of my new spring looks. See I'm trying to gun out some more modern stuff because the RFL Clothing Fair is just around the corner, and I think I have a good amount of stuff to show being this is my 1st year in it and all. And I'm hoping to get into the RFL Fantasy Faire which is around sometime in the summer, so I'll be working my fantasy clothes, and Fae Faire items for that. We'll see, anyway here they are!
This is the corset dress in honey and it's my favorite color out of all of them! What's really special about these dresses is that the lace changes 15 different colors so you can really mix it up!
I couldn't make new dresses and girlie shoes without making something for Fauns (feet-wise)! It's been my favorite kind of AV lately. :D So here you have my new stripey tie faun feet that match my new bolero jackets. See it was time to move the winter down vests & jackets out of the way so I could make room for new stuff!
Ah, and here they are...
My tweed equestrian bolero jackets! These come in lots of different colors with slender & curvy options. And those are hand-painted buttons you see too. See I wanted to make jackets to go with my new dresses, but I also wanted to be able to change it up by wearing them with a sexy tee and denim whatevers. I say "whatevers" because I will be making new denim mini skirts this week. (which will look cute with my new rosie heels too!) Anyways speaking of tees...
These are my favorite tees to wear at the moment and it doesn't hurt that the boys like them. Well Ara loves them anyway. These also come in lots of different colors with and without nipples. Like I said in my last release, I really like this nipple thing lol. And since I'm loving these spring things so much, of course I had to make some dollarbie nom-noms!
Yep, my favorite flower, daisies! These come in 3 different colors and are only 1L at the store. So I hope you like them! Ugh now I have even more work to do. I have to get my RFL fashion show choices picked out, plus I have prefabs and lots of garden stuff to pack up and release for Fae Faire too. Never mind that my head is already dreamin' up new clothes lol.
Ok so that's enough about new stuff on to Linden Homes! Ok. I've been a premium member since 2006 and sadly I missed out on 1st land somehow. So, yesterday when I was logging in, you know how they have a little info blurb while you wait? Well this one was about Linden Homes, so a light bulb went off in my head and I figured maybe I'm eligible to get one. And sure enough I was! Now I know what you're thinking, why would I need one since I own 2 sims? Well that's easy, see all those prims are devoted to my stores and I don't really have a place just for me anymore. The last time I did was when I first started SL and was just exploring and having fun. So I'm happy! It looks great and I love it and surprise, surprise it's NOT in the fantasy scene. lol I figured that's my day job in SL and I need a place to break away from that. Don't get me wrong I love fantasy, I've been doing it since 2006 but gah, it's nice to unwind in a normal place so I picked the Tahoe styled sims. So yay I have a home away from home.

GEMINI Cybernetics Client Detection System
This has been getting a lot of peoples tongues wagging. At first I was on the fence but it turns out that Skills Hak, the creator of this system is also in the Content Creators Association with me. Anyway after hearing other CCA members and him talking about it, I was ready to jump of the fence and make a decision. Yep, I bought one for each of my sims and to be honest if you get banned, you will stay banned. I don't care if it was a mistake and you decided to stop using whatever latest copybot client is out there and switch to Emerald, YOU will stay banned once those options are in place. From what people have been saying it works so why not? I can afford it, but I can't afford people ripping things from me like they have in the past. So I will continue to use it until I think otherwise. Enough said. Okies I have a TON of tv to catch up on and I really need to rest my hand. So talk to ya soon!

Scam Artist Alert!Hihi,
Well I can't really tell you who it is because I will not violate TOS & get in trouble because of this morally corrupt person. Anyway earlier today it has been brought to my attention that said person has been buying my transferable items from Fae Faire and have been reselling them for A LOT more than what I sell mine for. So of course I banned them and let them know that the prefab they have been selling, has had the permissions changed so it's now no transfer. When they finally contacted me back they pretty much said that they "have to pay bills", and that what they are doing isn't wrong and it's priced higher as a "restocking fee". They are right, according to LL what they are doing isn't wrong, but what about morally? I was livid at this point and said bottom line it's morally corrupt and at the end of they day, if their customer right-clicks it in their inventory it will get back to me as the creator, especially if they need customer service. So I told them I will not honor my customer service policies on items they buy at their store, ESPECIALLY highly scripted items with lots of features. They pretty much tried to return the house and TOLD me to take them off the ban list, then said "that this business is concluded, ty" and logged. Oooo I was seeing red, I got up and was ranting to Ara who was sleeping. Lol I feel bad, when the a-holes and scum in SL get to me like this he always has to hear it. Anyway, when I got back to my computer they logged, so I sent an offline message saying that here's your house back, do what you want and you are still banned from the Vanima Sims, then muted them. It wasn't just a prefab they had, but other items there at their store that they are selling for A LOT more. An example is a swing I sell for 135L, they sell for 300L. Anyway before I got up to rant to Aranel, I asked them how would you feel if you went to a store and bought something to find out they bought it from a reseller with a very high mark up? That when they go to the actual creator's store you find out not only that is it cheaper, but there are better permissions, AND you get customer service if you need help with the items. I said personally I would be angry. And they just ignored my questions. Said that wasn't that point. Then what the F&%$ is the point? I mean I've been here in SL with Fae Faire since 2006. I make things to because I'm an artist and I LOVE to create, but also to make people happy here. I'm always trying to raise the bar and make fun and unique items to put smiles on people's faces. That they buy my items and decorate their homes and feel relaxed, warm, and happy. People even just come to my sims to relax and have fun, to escape real life's harsh realities at times... And then this person comes along and scams them? I mean you can by my low-prim arbor swing with butterfly particles for 135L, and they are selling my swing for 300L? For that price I have other swings with a lot more scripted features and design and detail... So you are just scamming unknowing noobs. I try to price things so they coincide with what features they have. That they are affordable to who wants to buy them. I'm surprised this a-hole didn't try to sell my dollarbies, but then that would be too obvious wouldn't it? I mean the famous ones I have a classified ad out for so they would be seen as a scam artist off the bat. Meh. Anyway, my point is it's not fair to me or the people of SL, that this person is doing this. Especially when if someone buys something from them they will be looking to me for help if something goes wrong. You will stay banned, I can't stop what you are doing, but as you said "you are not good enough yet to build your own items." Well then that's too bad for you. You should know SL has a learning curve. That real life artists from all kinds of backgrounds and mediums like myself comes here to create wonderful stuff. So if you aren't good enough yet most likely you'll never be. And the fact that deep down you know that so you figure why not supplement your store with items to sell, that you couldn't possibly make yourself proves that. You lack talent, creativity and vision. You are belong with the scum and bottom-feeders of SL. And the funny thing is, I'm not as angry that you are reselling it without my permission, but as much as the fact that talking to you, you really couldn't see how you are scamming & hurting people by marking up my cheap items and making them pay through the nose. That you are so focused on passing a buck that you forget about the customers at your store and why they buy your items. So if a customer asks you for the mark-up difference, what would you say? Sorry but you should have been more informed before you bought it? A-hole. Ok this rant is finished. Your request to be unbanned from my sims has been denied so f&%$ off!
~JadePS~ Anyone reading this if you want to know who it is bring up Search, click on the Places tab, type "mushrooms" and it's the store way down the list, way lower than Fae Faire that concentrates on exclusively selling mushrooms & water objects. (How limiting) If you go there, you'll see my stuff. But then they might take it down because being banned from my sims really bothers them for some reason. hehe How lucky for them that the prefab they have been scamming with is a mushie prefab of mine. It's good that I changed the perms!

Cupid's Day is on it's way!

That my pretties is one of the latest dresses out @ Epic! And I can honestly say is probably the best made thus far. I absolutely love it! When I started it, my idea was to make a cute and simple Valentine's Day Lolita dress and it just sort of evolved into this. I was inspired by Alice In Wonderland and Cupid's day so this is what I got. See Katatonik has made the most amazing Alice dress (the best in SL) and I have it in all the styles too (even the bloody ones), and I don't really have any desire to make a new one so why not the Queen of Hearts? Queenie because it reminds me of that PJ Harvey song plus it's so cute! Anyway, I even made a Faun alternative which make it extra cute:
Yeah I had to give this a fantasy twist. Don'tcha love it? Anyway I also made some dollarbie nom-noms that people seem to be really loving.
It's just a variation of the candy hearts I made last year for Fae Faire. When I was making all this Valentine's Day stuff I thought it would make an awesome dollarbie nom-nom and I was right! So it makes me happy. Now let's get onto the hotness! I 1st started with making girl baseball tees, but then figured that just releasing girlie tees isn't really fair to my male Epic customers so here we go!
I Googled guys Valentine's tees and I wanted to make some that were emo and cute and not lame and fem. So I found this idea and I love it! It's what an Emo Lothario would wear I think. Hee~hee. Meh it makes me gush and I totally think it's sexy. And Aranel does look hot here... Yum! And lastly the girlie ones!
I decided to move away from the sheer holiday tees but who says I can't paint on some nipples? Man these took a little bit to get right, when I first started them they looked weird and funny. I had to make sure I used the av mesh to make sure the nipple placement was in the right spot and now it is, and they look good I think. Woot! I think when I do tees from now on they will be featuring these nipples lol.
Okies so these are the highlights of today's release. Now I can finish the other Epic clothes I have on hold in my work box, plus the RFL clothing fair will be here before you know it! And since this is my 1st year doing it I want to make a big splash! But I think I will rest this weekend... My hand is still healing and I need a little break, I made a lot of stuff this week for Epic & Fae Faire.

Some Cuteness & Some Valentine's Day Goodness!

This Second Life Sweethearts Box has been literally a year in the making! I got the idea a year ago last Valentine's Day, but just didn't have enough time sadly to make it. But the upside is I decided to donate this exclusive custom build to Virtual Haiti Relief to help Haiti. So you can only find it in my Virtual Haiti Relief Vendors @ Fae Faire & Epic!
So I just released a bunch of stuff today which I had to put off during the weekend because this Cubital Tunnel Syndrome can be rough! So there's new Valentine's Day Members Dollarbies (a Heart Donut & Teddy Bear, and more...), mega tall trees, whimsical topiaries, star mushies AND a new prefab... *insert drum roll here*
My Cozy Elfin Shoe Cottage is my favorite prefab at the moment! It has a lot of bells & whistles that I'm not gonna bore you with, BUT I will say A LOT of care and love went into this build. And I love it! (I'm trying to figure out how to make room for it to live in on Vanima Shee, hehe!) So these are the highlights of today's Fae Faire release. I'm working on Epic stuff as I blog this. Let's just say the shoe cottage has me going a lil' country! And I'm working on some Valentine's Day Fantasy stuffs and more exclusive Virtual Haiti Relief stuffs. My goal is to have my Epic release on Friday. So until next time y'all!
